  1. Yes, very soon.  Once it gets to past 60 million or so, Bettman will probably freak out because the parody of the NHL is gone and will decrease it.  

    I believe the perfect salary cap would be around 55 million dollars.

  4. Yes.  If the NHL's revenue decreases, then the salary cap decreases.  This is to ensure that the players' salaries don't exceed 57 percent of the league's revenue.

  5. Oh, it's possible. But you have to ask, why would they want to do that when there is enough money to keep increasing it to former salary highs?
