  1. Only your perception is altered from your waking time. Time is an illusion. We all perceive the passing of time differently, everyone.

  2. Yes, by the lucid dreamer within the context of the dream itself. For example you could start as an adult in your dream and then return to a time when you were still a child. You could experience the dream as a child or as an adult looking in unseen on yourself as a child.

I have posted a couple of links on Lucid Dreaming below.

  3. Perhaps it would seem altered if you tried, but lucid or not, all dreams only last a few minutes.

  4. Only in the dream.  Or through the passage of time while asleep.

  5. If you have in fact mastered lucid dreaming I would think anything might be possible except the real time which would stay the same I'm afraid.

  6. Not real time, no. But time can seem like its passing by fast or slow in a dream.

  7. Intersting question I have been in Lucid dreams but I do not think the time was altered it just WAS or I should say it was as it is in Lucid dream or any dream for that matter TIME has no value it goes beyond time and space whrn you are in a dream and aware of your dream....have you never dreamed a long dream and to awake to see that it lasted only 10 minutes this has happened to me and I was very aware of it :))))) I believe there is no time in dreaming...................it goes beyond time and space :))))

  8. Well you are the dreamer controlling the dream...are you not?

  9. define the word"dream" are you dreaming when you are aware of everything that is going on around you?  maybe you just lost track of time since you were dreaming and time just flew by while you were forgetting that it was time to wake up!

  10. I'm sure it could seem to the dreamer that time is altered, even with a normal dream you seem to be able to fit hours of action packed excitement into a few minutes.

  11. Come to think of it, in my dreams time is never like it is here. How many times have you had a long complicated dream & when you woke only a small portion of time here has passed. Thanks for the question.

  12. Yeah.

  13. I have noticed in dreams none of the so called natural laws of physics apply all the time, & time is usually altered. Since a lucid dream is just a dream in which you are aware you are dreaming, it is no different.

    Blessings!

  14. you mean to get it back on track? to restart from a point where you could not direct correctly?

yes! ........but there will be detritus as the redirected section was still part of the dream.

Sometimes a certain pattern (something that might normally cause a nightmare for example ) is very resistant to direction but if you have failed time and again then you know it is strong and can try to trick it by attempting to actively force the dream the way is naturally going - that resistance will still be active and will help tricking the dream into the directed path by using the strength of it's resistance against it.

  15. Stop dreaming of this Lucid person and you may find out!

  16. No. This is actully impossible time cannot be altered. It is just forever moving forward bit by bit, step by step...

We cannot go into the future, and we cannot go into the past. Pure and simple.

  17. yes

    and

    no
