  1. It's one or two things. You really did hear this and was not in REM (which is a deep sleep). Or somehow you two was connected, the mind is the most powerful thing on our body. This is why one is not consider dead until they are brain dead.

Personally, I think you both really heard the same things. I use to leave in this house in NC in which my mom said she could hear people whispering and weird music. I thought she was crazy until I heard it too. I heard it several times afterwords and asked my x to listen and he stated he heard people talking and music but when he checked there was nothing which I knew he wouldnt find anything. He came back to the room and heard it again. I still visits that same house over the years and finds that the different people who has live there hears the same thing that I have heard and/or seen the black shadow I've seen. One tenant even heard the door slam when all was sleep.

When my husband passed when I was 16 the next morning my sister in law stated she heard my husband's foot step coming up the stairs going into my room. I heard the same thing and didn't mention it first cause I thought they would think I was crazy.

When my sister was shot, her next door neighbor stated she would hear my sister's footsteps everyday and night. So these are all a phenomena.

  2. sure. your dreams actually are your life problems translated into a language of dreams... (the symbols you see have a meaning.. example: hand means work and creativity, ball means flexibility, etc.)

and usually, while you sleep, the brain tries to resolve these life problems translated into the dream language...(if you learn to translate dream language into human language you can resolve your problems in real life, but that's not the point..).

so, you wanna know the conclusion?

here it is: if two people have the same problems in real life, if their beliefs are pretty much the same, if they feel the same about that certain problem, then yes, they can dream the same thing.

oh, and there's one more thing:

the sound could've come from the outside, i mean your brains must've noticed it and thought that it was a part of your dreams:D this happened to me once.

    hope i helped you:)

  3. it seldom happens, but it does nontheless...it could mean that you two were connected mentally at the time you slept.....only too connected...

  4. you can have the same sort of dream yes... to have the exact same dream might be pretty rare tho!
