Is it possible for vegetarians to not get enough vegetables?

I know a group of young kids who are vegetarians because they think it makes them healthier. They may not eat meat... instead they will buy cheesy bean burritos at taco bell and eat tons of candy and like cheese pizza... So yes it's very possible to not get enough veggies as a Vegetarian.

Yes, but the these are not true vegetarians. Most normal vegetarians  do not EAT FAST FOOD for obvious reasons and its sad that most of the people that responded to your question are lying through their TEETH

Of course it is.  Vegetarians don't just sit around nibbling carrots all day.  Many "vegetarians" eat alot of junk food, and not much in the way of veggies at all.  A good vegetarian diet will be well balanced, like any other good diet, and would include veggies, fruits, whole grains, beans, pulses, legumes, leafy greens, rice, quinoa, and a wide variety of good things.  I know some vegetarians who hardly ever touch a veggie.  I love veggies, so they are a huge staple in my diet, but many don't bother to much with them.  The term vegetarian is misleading, since it includes sooooooo many things besides just vegetables.

Of course. I know a vegetarian who seems to subsist entirely on sweet rolls and fruit juice. Of course, they weigh 300 pounds and have diabetes....

As mentioned, you could life off doritos and be a vegetarian, but that doesn't make you a healthy one. Most vegetarians get enough vegetables in their diet. But sometimes they forget about traditional vegetables and eat a ton of tofu and that kind of stuff.

Of course.  Not all vegetarians eat a balanced diet.  You could fill up on junk food and still be vegetarian.
