  1. no, when preforming a trig function it must be a ratio between like values, so there cannot be any units.  x/v has the units of seconds.  you cannot preform a trig function on anything with units.  It is equivalent to raising x to the power of seconds, which makes no sense.


  2. Impossible. Ist thing tht's wrong is that tan theta is always a ratio which has no units. But according 2 u, tan theta has d unit of seconds. 2nd thing that's wrong is tan theta=perpendicular/base.v cannot say that base can never be measured in m/s.
