I have been sick lately and for two nights had a very very high temp/fever. When woke up in morning my shoulders, chest, face and back where all pink and stung like sunburn. Is it possible that if your body over heats can it cause the effects of sunburn to the skin.?

  1. Yes if you get a high temperature for a long period of time this can happen. It's kinda like a heat rash but it looks and feels just like sunburn. If it lasts for much longer than a day or so Id suggest getting it checked out to ensure it's not something else :)

  2. a sun burn is caused by UVA and UVB rays, its not from something that your body produces.

with that being said, i dont see why its not possible to get so hot that you may develop low scale blisters on your body from a high body temperature. but if it gets that bad, you should be at the doctor. a high body temperature will kill a person.
