Is it possible i've been hacked? Ok so i was looking though my music folder and some of my songs?

Question

that i knew i had are now gone, Also i whole album as well. Ok there is a 0.5% chance that i've deleted them. or is maybe sme kind of virus. Ok my younger brother uses the computer too but these are song he'd have no interest in.

Why don't you check in the recycle bin?

How on earth do you know that you have been hacked by someone?

If somebody was going to hack you, they wouldn't just delete the whole album or the song, they might put a virus in your computer and its hidden somewhere that you can't find it, or maybe one day you'll be able to find the hidden virus on your computer but can't remove it. If a hacker would have you then they will steal all your person details, like bank accounts, credit card numbers etc... why don't you use an external hard drive to store your own stuff on a separate hard drive so that the hacker can't get into your separate hard drive. You can get one with usb hard drives, desktop ones so hackers can't get in.

don't think an hacker would be the cause.

you could try using search and type music files in then click on search .the files may still be there.

if someone was to hack a PC wouldnt they just break the comp? insteadof deleteing a few songs lol

I think if you were hacked the last thing a hacker would want to do is delete your music and albums.

Sounds to me like a user error.

Maybe your brother was mad at you and deleted them. Hacker mostly copy files they don't delete. Let me know if this program brings them back.

if you were hacked the hacker would probably use your computer to do his or hers dirty work for example spamming.

check the recycle bin.
