  2. Years ago, I use to work for a Dermatologist.  We had a gentleman who came in.  He was ill, and had the tell-tale bullseye rash.

He was a car salesman for a car lot in downtown Seattle.  He NEVER ventured into anything resembling nature.  He thought nature was icky and untidy.

Yet at work, on that paved car lot in downtown Seattle, he'd managed to be bitten by a tick, AND had contracted lyme disease.

So to answer your question, yes, it's entirely possible you were bitten by a tick, just riding your bike in a preserve.

  3. It is possible.  Determining if you were bitten is a bit harder to determine.  I would look around areas where your clothes fit tightly to your skin like at the ankles, waist, wrist or collar.

  4. Yes, quite possible.

  5. Yes, also ticks do not bite, they stick to you, grow into your skin, and eat your blood. Just to tell you, but it could of bite you, I have just never heard of that.

&& you can get a tick from anywhere.

  6. yea it is possible. Ticks can be any where! Even on the toilet seat! :D
