I know how to switch over the the British version, but I'm not sure if I actually can buy stuff off of it. Since I only have dollars, and I'd needs pounds to buy the songs I like, would it be possible? I REALLY like British music, but I don't get much over on iTunes America. Please and thank you! :)

  1. no, its not

  2. yeah i think u can just put that u are from england (uk)

  3. NO the site you use is linked to the billing address you give which in turn is linked to the credit card you use.

if you use a US credit card you billing address is the US and if you use a UK credit card then the billing address is the UK. The same applies to junior account based on the itunes Gift/pre-purchase cards - if its a US sourced card you use the US site and if its a UK site then its a UK site.

you could set up 2 accounts if you have access to a UK credit card or gift card BUT then any protected music you buy on one account will not play on the other as one machine can only be authorise to one account at a time.

this might work for  itunes Plus music but not the DRM stuff!

you can try the Tesco music or amazon.co.uk for british music but apart from the TV shows I thought most of the music on itunes was international just different prices and the main difference was the content of the home screen and the ability to purchase movies and tv shows.

  4. I don't think it is possible.

  5. No I do not think you can.  Which is a bummer.  I have faced the same delimma.

  6. Hello

No im afraid, you need a UK address and bank account.

I was given vouchers for Christmas in US dollars and it would only let me download via the voucher and I couldnt buy any more.
