In other words, if I have two SL accounts can both of my avatars camp at the same time in SL? I've tried it and my computer says that I already have an SL window minimized but...I thought I've heard of other people doing this all the time.

  1. you could do it an another computer

  2. Try searching the Second Life Help Wiki with questions too!

Looks intimidating but they even had an answer to this question. Here is the LINK to how you can run more than one viewer at a time.

    (below)

But basicly you create a new desktop icon for SL. Go to Properties on that new icon. look for where it says "Target". type " -multiple" (without the quotations)at the very end of what is already there in the target window. Close that and use that new Second life icon to log in another avatar. I renamed that one SL2 right on my desktop...

but check out the help wiki description on how it is done too in case I got a step wrong....

    Hope this helps:D

  3. Right click on the SL icon on your desktop and choose properties.  Under the Shortcut tab you will see Target:

At the end of the string of text on that line add " -multiple"  without the quotation marks.

It should look something like this:

    "C:\Program Files\SecondLife\SecondLife.exe" -set SystemLanguage en-us -multiple

    Have fun!
