Is it possible in some way to run an Ethernet cable from my laptop to my Xbox for Xbox Live?

My laptop can pick up the wireless internet signal in my house. Yes, I know it'd be easier to connect the Xbox to the router but I've no phone lines in my upstairs so I can't do that...

Could I get my laptop to translate the wireless signal into the Xbox via Ethernet?

It is 100% possible go to google and type use my laptop to connect to live and chose any of the results.

I don't think its possible. There may be a way but i cant really think of one.
