  1. totally possible

  2. Its possible unitl sometime in 2009, then it needs a land crossing passport. You missed that? It could have been worded as: Does nature care about boarders?

  3. Most tornadoes do not travel many miles (although there have been many exceptions).  Also the storms giving rise to tornadoes generally follow the direction of prevailing winds, toward the northeast for much of the US (toward Canada) and are also influenced by the jet stream that favors easterly wind directions.  If a tornado developed near the Canadian/US border, it is possible (but not likely) that it would penetrate the US.  Worcester Mass. had a terrible tornado (in the 50's) and they can strike far north, away from the Great Plains.

  4. Totally impossible.  It will be considered an act of terrorism and deny entry into the US.

  5. As stated previously the possibility exists where border areas occur.  In eastern Canada tornadoes seem to frequently occur on the west side of cold lakes, (borrowing energy from the evaporation of water on the intake side of the approaching frontal storm).  When these areas are near the Canada - U.S.A. border, then it is entirely possible for the tornado to cross the border area and occur in both countries, (ie: the Thousand Island bridge area between Canada and New York State experienced a small tornado a few years ago and it did damage on both sides of the St. Lawrence River).

  6. Don't listen to the answers that are obviously fake.

Sure it can.  Tornadoes typically move from west-to-east.  However, it's certainly possible for a tornado to move from southwest-to-northeast.  For example, say you have a tornado that starts in North Dakota.  Moving from southwest-to-northeast, it can cross right into Canada (Saskatchewan, I believe).  So, yes.  I hope this helps!

  7. It is possible but not that likely and it would have to occur on a border state of Canada, like North Dakota.  Secondly,  tornadoes do happen in Canada but once they hit the surface they usually only last for a few minutes.   I would be highly unlikely for them to move from central canada in to the United States.

  8. sure enuff
