in Russia in 1917 with a promise to get out of WW I. Now Obama "Promises" to get us out of the War! At What cost?

Russian Revolution

"The war and the government became more and more unpopular. Discontent led to a rise in popularity of the Bolshevik party, led by Vladimir Lenin. He promised to pull Russia out of the war and was able to gain power. The triumph of the Bolsheviks in November was followed in December by an armistice and negotiations with Germany. At first the Bolsheviks refused the German terms, but when Germany resumed the war and marched across Ukraine with impunity, the new government acceded to the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk on 3 March 1918. It took Russia out of the war and ceded vast territories, including Finland, the Baltic provinces, parts of Poland and Ukraine".

  1. Lenin took over the USA?!  When did this happen?!?!?!

  2. Are you suggesting that once any war starts, all sides should continue killing each other for all eternity, no matter how pointless the "cause?"

I don't think there's any such thing as a just war, but this is an unjust one. It's already killed more than a million Iraqi civilians, for what end? Continued occupation? Continued killing? Continued destruction of every trace of civil society?

  3. While I don't think he's planning such evil doings.... it wouldn't be surprising that his policies lean towards such ends.  But I just don't think the American people would stand for it... if we must fight another revolution, then sobeit.... we shall fight.

    Have a right-wing day.

  4. EXACTLY!!!

Why no one understands this, I do not know.

    He is a blatant socialist.

  5. It has been the liberal democrat dream since the 60's
