Is it possible or rather can you fit a triple cylinder artic cat engine on a 86 honda trx 250r?

I mean besides adding different motor mounts. just to add the quad will be a drag quad.

  1. The biggest challenge is the drive line.  The arctic cat snowmobile engine does not have a transmission.  You'll have to figure out a way to couple the output shaft of the engine to the drive chain for the rear axel.  The next question is what to do about the liquid cooling, radiator or no radiator? How big of a radiator, where to mount it and do you need a fan (probably not)?  What about starting this beast, you going to keep the electric starter or have removable starter like some race cars?

    Then making this all fit into the frame.  I hope you've got TIG or MIG for welding the frame after you chopped it to fit the triple and other mods.
