In the 19th century, the Republicans allowed their cronies, The Robber Barons of Standard Oil, the Steel Trust, the Rail Trust, and others to steal from the citizens with their monopolistic practices. At the end of the 1920's, they presided over the Great Depression after years of stock manipulation, insider trading, and outright fraud. in 1981, they set the stage for a repeat of that scam with deregulation and the Star Wars boondoggle, then by the end of the decade, the swindled the S&L's and the taxpayers.

But no matter, how many times we've been had, we keep turning the other cheek. Take my blue-collar job! Take my white-collar job! Take my car! Take my house! Take my retirement benefits! Take my healthcare! Take my tax money and give it to Caesar and his cronies!

Can it really be that we are a Christian nation? Or a nation of toothless, cousin-humping retards?

  1. I agree with the first poster, it is hard to find someone so well versed in how the American people gets screwed over and over by large corporations and their owners and can still laugh about it. I find myself not only bitter at the establishment, but at the ignorant masses who are too lazy to find this information and see how it pertains to them. My vote is for toothless retards.

  2. Well, I still have all my teeth, but other than that you pretty much hit the nail on the head.

  3. That's what you get with a corporate oligarchy.  That's what the Republican party supports.  It's good for business so it's good for the people!  ...or so they say.

  4. Oh man, I haven't had a chuckle like that in a while. It is so refreshing to see someone that knows their history and can have a sense of humor as well. You brought up great points though, I'm gonna give you a star!
