Is it possible that I can go to London and stay with a family like they do in the United States?

I want to see London, but I don't want to be an exchange student. I just want to stay with a family in London for maybe a month or so, I know a girl who came from Ireland and stayed with my friend's family. I don't want to go during the school year.

ask in your school about a student exchange program. i studied a semester in the US from the UK.

yes, it's possible ... all you've got to do is google "home stay UK" and it pulls up loads of results

but you sound quite young and going to the home of complete strangers is maybe not the best idea
