My husband gave me Chlamydia, we got pills for it, during the time we were taking the medicine we were having s*x, he was using a condom, on one time, he threw the condom in our bedroom thrash can, the next day I found the condom in our living room, we are thinking our 2 year old daughter took it out, and possibly put it in her mouth, I know that it was very wrong from us not to throw the use condom in a more appropriate place, can she get Chlamydia in this way? If I take her to the her pediatrician can she get taken away from us? Only serious answers please!

  1. WOW that sucks, but I'm not sure if she could get it that way, I dont think so, but maybe. Your daughter would not be taken away as it was an accident, your doctor probably wouldnt think anything of it.

  2. Thats a tricky one.  I"d call the pediatrician and explain what has happend.  I"m sure they've heard worse :)  However, you shouldn't be having sexual contact at all untill the chlamydia is all cleared.  GOod luck with your daughter.

  3. First of all, you really should not be having s*x at all until the chlamydia has been completely treated and you've had a follow-up and given the green light from your doctor that it's completely gone.

As for your daughter, give your doctor a call and explain what has happened and just ask about this. I'm sure the doctor will be more than happy to answer any questions that you have so that you can put your mind to rest.
