Is it possible that after an ice-skating fall and cutting open the chin, blood can come out of the ear?

The impact of the fall is hurting my left jaw a lot, and it's the left ear that blood came out of.

yea, your ears pop with impact in the head, its normal

once i got nailed with 2 hands full speed in the head, besides blacking out for 3 seconds my ears popped real bad and one started bleeding

Any type of blow to the head (even the chin) that results in blood loss through the ear should be brought to the attention of your health care provider.

Well yes you should be a little worried.. Thats not good.

But i think youll be fine, the impact probably caused something in your ear to rupture.

Think about it: in movies someone gets shot in the stomach and they are bleeding out of their mouth. Obviously your case isnt so severe but, you get the point.

Ice it (chin, maybe ear to) to prevent swelling and bruising. Take some tylenol (if you havent already) and if it still hurts take advil too. (they are different drugs so you can take both)

If it still hurts in a day or something feels wrong, go back and talk to them. Better to be safe than sorry.

Btw how did you manage to fall and get your blade all the way up to your chin?? that must take some talant.

Yes it can. Your ears can pop with the impact from the fall. The bleeding should stop soon but if not, see a doctor. ♥
