  1. Sure, I bet he found a nice hole somewhere and has cuddled up in there.  My friend lost her hamster for weeks and found it ALIVE not too far from her cage.  She had taken seeds that my friend put out to a nest she had made.  Trouble was, she chewed a hole in the wall and made that nest in the wall fluff.  Installation, I think...  Something with a -tion in it, haha.

    Anyways, yeah, it is possible she is asleep somewhere.  I would check any place by crawling around on hands and knees looking under your best, closet doors, etc.  Anywhere there is anything soft, it'll nest in.  Even if that means a blanket on the floor!  Just be careful of what you're doing.  (;

    If you use a flash light, don't ever point it directly at the hamster, but a little more off to the side of it.  Pointing the light into their eyes can damage them and lead to blindness, which won't help you.  So look around quickly, thoroughly, and carefully.  ^^

  2. hamsters are nocturnal like rats and owls so if your hamster is lost and it's night time it's not sleeping and if its light outside then it's sleeping. so if i were you i'll leave out some hamster food everywhere and just feed your hamster there but this might attract rats and its pretty hard to catch a hamster after it tried so hard to get it's little body through those holes so i won't try too hard to find your hamster.

  3. It's definitely possible.

    When I was young, I had a lost hamster who was gone for literally MONTHS. We would leave food out for him and it would be gone by the next day, so we knew he was alive. Eventually we found him in our downstairs bathroom! He made a nest next to the shower in a small crevice! It may take a while before he gets to the areas where you have set the traps, but he'll likely come eventually.

  4. Yep,or he might have gotten stck somewhere and died from heart attack.He could have escaped outside and ran away,or it went in a cozy corner and slept.My hamster loves going underneath and behind the couches,anywhere near a heating/air vent or backyard sliding door.

  5. if he got out through the day chances are he is sleeping somewhere, since they do most of there work through the night.i have heard of hamsters being missing for weeks and then came back, however mine escaped 3 months ago, and sad to say i never seen her again.if you have an idea where she may be hiding, put some baby powder down on the floor at night, then you will see her lil feetprints in it when you get up. good luck

  6. sorry to say but he might be dead or ran away

  7. We lost one of ours once then found him inside the settee.

    He'd nibbled a hole through the fabric at the bottom and climbed up inside - we had to take off all the base fabric to rescue him.

    Since hamsters are nocturnal, he may come out from wherever he is hiding this evening.

  8. sure its possible.. but it doesn't HAVE to sleep.... you should put all his favorite foods in the center of the room and maybe you wil have luck.
