  1. If this love was a big illusion and a lie, yes suddenly it can evaporate.

So people say Love to ........desires, lust, dependency, fulfilling of own needs, company, advantages, pride, chemical things in your body, ...........but what about all this has anything to do with LOVE?

I heard once say that true love is only possible towards the soul to a person. I do believe if this true love is there it cannot evaporate but if it was an earthly love it can as it is not truly alive.

What do you think, could there be a kernel of truth in it?

I do not know your specific situation, whatever happened, good luck.

  2. Yes. It is possible that what passes for love will evaporate completely.  Today's' love and emotional clinging is not real love. It's mostly lust and assumed ownership of one over another.

In the New Testament, agapē love (The kind of love God feels for us) is charitable, selfless, altruistic, and unconditional. It is parental love seen as creating goodness in the world, it is the way God is seen to love humanity, and it is seen as the kind of love that Christians aspire to have for others.

  3. It doesn't happen in one day, however the realization may have more of an impact than the deteriorating days, weeks, etc prior.

  4. In general there is a physics to love.  It grows or dissolves based on events & choices.   Might seem like it can vanish in a moment, but it's usually an extended process.

Love is like a tree you've planted.

Now it's POSSIBLE that one day you spontaneously decide to chop it down, but it's far more likely to die from neglect.

And even the 'spontaneous' decision was probably coming for a while.

Love is considering the self interest of another as though it were your own.  Which means it is a CHOICE.

Can you INSTANTLY change your mind about caring for someone?   Well, sure.   It's just not the way it usually goes down.

  5. Yes. It called disillusionment.

  6. Love is all there is.

It is literally impossible for anything other than Love to exist. Yet, if Love is all you experience, you will never truly be able to appreciate it.

In the same way that your favorite food grows tiresome if you eat it consistently, it is necessary to experience the opposite of that which you enjoy in order to fully understand and appreciate that which you enjoy.

Because Love is all there is and it’s impossible to experience anything other than Love, the next best thing is to forget and create the illusion of fear. You are given the tremendous gift of being able to believe fear is real in order to fully appreciate Love.

In the absence of that which you are NOT, that which you ARE is NOT.

In this lifetime and in all your other lifetimes, you have the ability to create whatever it is you wish. You get to create fear. You get to create Love. With enough trial and error, you’ll start to come to the conclusion that Love simply feels better. It’s a more enjoyable place to be. Fear may feel good to the ego, but it’s ultimately a destructive energy. What may feel righteous or justified in the short term will never bring long term happiness.

If fear doesn’t exist, how is it that we can experience it?

  7. lust and desire can fade in an instant but love is eternal
