Is it possible that one of my baby mice will turn out beige?

ok my to mice had babies and the mom is gray and white and the dad is all black but the little pink body of the baby mouse looks beige

  1. Yes it is possible.  The gene for the baby's fur color is encoded in the parent's genes.  That doesn't mean if the mom is black and the dad is white, the baby will be gray, what it means is that the baby can be either of those colors or a completely different color.  The different color comes from the recessive alleles of each parent's fur color gene combining to be expressed.  


  2. It's very possible that the babies will look nothing like either one of their parents. You'll have to wait and see what color the babies will be.

  4. funny u should say that i breed gerbils and mice and i had a female brown and white and a black andwhite male and 2 of the babies came out beige and white so cute it may but not sure coz the grey but it may just wait and c they get there first coat by about 6 days so
