Is it possible for it to rain when there isn't a single cloud in the sky?

  1. no, all rain is in clouds.  


  2. No. Precipitation comes from clouds.

  3. SURE!

    That happens when a cross-wind catches a front below the point where the rain falls from the clouds.  When this happens, the rainfall drops in an area that is away from the cloud-front, overhead.

  6. No.  It can rain when it is sunny out, but the rain has to come from somewhere.  

    That somewhere being a cloud.  Rain can't just fall from nothing.
