  1. We are all related.

  2. I think it's interesting I always wonder about stuff like that too.The people from Mexico are for sure related to the Native Americans because they are called metis which means that their ancestors are Native American and European.Even some or all Native Americans have European background so they are defiantly the same race but with different cultures.I don`t know about the other groups, but I wish I know because I have grandparents who are either Indian or mixed with Indian, and my mom couldn`t give me a precise answer which Indian group they are from.I`m from the Caribbean and we have Indians from India ,Caribs and so on.Iran sounds like a completely different thing.I know some Iranian people and they don`t look like some of the groups you mention, but you`ll notice that they look like other middle eastern people and Africans-Egyptians,.......

    Wish i can help more.

  3. I think that the Native Americans are, in fact, descendants from Asian folks who migrated across the Bering Strait many millennia ago.

  4. I guess, It is proven that polynesians were the first to settle South America

  5. Well, if you go back far enough, yes we are all related.  But I think that the different groups of people you refer to looking alike is not due to them being directly related.  I think it has more to due with people gradually changing to best suit their environment and these groups of people living in similar environments.  Bergman's and Allen's rules explain that people's features are a product of environment, so if different groups of people live in similar environments, eventually over generations of time they will begin to resemble each other.

  6. Thousands of years back, I don't see why they couldn't have a common ancestor. More recently, we don't have any good evidence of contact between them, no matter how much they look alike to some people.

  7. Only if you go back to the mists of the beginning of time.  While ever since the first bands of humans began moving out there have been intermingling of peoples, for the most part this intermingling has been slow and over a long period of time.

Check with the National Geographics Genotype Project.

  8. No, the Native American population's DNA is haplogroup A-D & X on the female side (mtDNA) & Q3 on the male side.  This puts them related to the East Asians, Central & Western Asians & surprisingly some North Western Europeans.

On a personnal note, my son (adopted) is native American but looks more Turkish or Mid Eastern than Asian. Therefore I can see why you would ask the question.

  9. I have always believed that our "Native American base" came from the Orient via the Bering Strait. Peace, Love and God Bless.

  10. Yes most defiantly, Just like many people here in the us have native American blood.   If you go back far enough we are all related.

  11. Oh course, look at the similarities.

10 fingers (2 opposable thumbs included)

    10 toes

    2 legs, 2 arms

    either a p***s or a v****a (sometimes both)

verbal communications by means of words

    23 pairs of chromosomes.

We share a common ancestor even (since Homo Sapiens is believed to have come out of Africa)

But most important, if a male and a female had s*x- they could produce a viable offspring (by that I mean we're all HUMANS).

  12. They migrated from Siberia across the Baring Straits.

There are all kinds of 'chances' about the interrelating thing you ask. Genetics is the key to the answers though.

    Sash.
