Is it possible that the ceo/producer of a big company such as MarkOne Film Production contact you for a job?

i passed a resume to them, they contacted me through e-mail, and asking me for the job.. i was able to chat through ym with the ceo/producer of the company, is it possible.

Sure it is possible but it depends of his management style and the job involved.

Most managers want to be involved in the hiring of their own DIRECT staff (regardless of how low the rank of job is). I myself hire my own assistants and drivers (although they are prior screened by HR).

Also some managers/CEO wants to hire themselves..

Hello, yes it is.

I´m in the modelling industry, and I contacted many agencies without getting any really response.

When I contacted www.secretstalents.com I got an email from the manager. The following week i got a contract on a modell job. I think that the agencies titles really does not matter, if a manager or a managing director contacts you fine, the best it when you get the job.

Be happy, and go for it, I did and my career has ready started.
