Of course, there's primitive extraterrestrial life in this vast universe. How about extraterrestrial life with civilization more advanced than ours.

I know there's is no proof yet. But it's possible.

It is possible that millions of light years away, some extraterrestrial beings have technology far more advanced than us, but did not visit us?

  1. you can never rule out the possibility of the anything not examined yet...

  2. 1500 years ago people knew the world was the center of the universe 500 years ago people knew the world was flat imagine what will you know tomorrow. well in my opinion yes how if the universes is infinite we are the only "intelligent" life on the universe.

  3. i dont no if there is or not but i do thnk that yes there is

  4. Sure it is.

It is possible that they visited earth in the distant past, or will in the distant future.  It is also possible they know we are here and we don't meet their definition of intelligent life yet.

It is possible they visit us know or monitor or study our civilization.

  5. Sure why not? what reason would a civilization have of visiting us when the only proof that they have that we even exist is about a 90 light year radius of distorted radio waves?  There is literally no way that they could guess our existance here by any conventional means.  I mean have we detected extraterrestial life?  Not quite and i imagine that a thousand years wouldnt produce many results as we advance.  This could be a long haul if we are to expect finding intelligent beings.  Unless they find us.  But even if they did...they may be so far beyond us there is no interest in contacting us.  They may not even acknowledge that we are intelligent by any means as they may have an entirely different thought process.

  6. If they ARE smarter than us, they wouldn't waste their time visiting us. We give them no reason to.

  7. Think about this:

The universe is probably no older that 20 BILLION YEARS!

The earth has been around for about 2 billion, human life a few million, and the technology to detect messages etc. has only been around for about 100-200 years.

The universe is also "Infinitely large" and "constantly expanding"

There are millions and millions of galaxies, each with millions and millions of stars.

The possibility of life developing near to us, and in the same time frame as us is INCREDIBLY small.

The probability of life occurring is not exactly small, but "intelligence" is more like a cosmic fluke.

By the way, we are a pretty unremarkable planet, on a rather average star, in a fairly ordinary galaxy. There are tons and tons of more interesting and 'detectable' things around us to distract them.

For aliens to have any significance to us, they would need to be within a few light years of us, need to have existed within 100 years of now, and need to have advanced enough technology to detect exactly where we are, travel through space for hundreds of years, and communicate with us.

    :o

With that in perspective, consider the possibility of them knowing us and not contacting us.

  8. of course i believe there is!! have you ever looked out into space...come on really people are ignorant if they don't believe...but there are some crazy a** theroies like the one that we are actually the aliens that took over planet earth...and something to do with time and space...ok that one i DON'T buy into but you get my point.....

  9. Honestly, if you were advanced enough to visit this planet from another galaxy, would you?

  10. even if there are, or what ever we called Aliens or anything, they would not interested in our small earth, which may not have any to do with them. the universe had plenty of planets, they can just go there which is safer for them..

  11. yes it is possible.

  12. If they have the technology to get here, we better hope like heck that they're benevolent.

  13. Clearly they know their sh*t.

I mean, if they are advanced right, and maybe even "free of sin" as the Pope suggested, why would they come here?

It would make people question their beliefs.

Presumably they would be able to solve many of the problems we have today, having solved the same problems themselves.

Thus we would sorta look to them to help. Then one thing leads to another and we become totally dependent on them.

To use an analogy which may cause some to crack up: do you visit your (good-for-nothing?) (selfish?) child who is all grown up now, who is financially independent and lives halfway across the universe, so to speak? They (the extraterrestrial life) have no ties to us whatsoever, unless maybe they helped build the pyramids, or...the Ford GT. Those are two beyond human creations, I must say.

  14. It's not only possible but probable as well!

Why should we suppose that we are the only fortunate ones in the entire endless universe?

  15. I'd say yes...it is too disturbing to think that we are the superior ones in the galaxy/universe...

My theory is that we were put on this planet by our alien leaders long ago for exile or punishment.  They are waiting for our kind to become more peaceful and a lot less violent....

Everyone thinks I'm crazy with this idea...but hey, you never know...because if there were others out their as mean and power hungry or even destructive with out knowing it they might have come here and destroyed us by now....

Others not contacting us while we try to contact them only suggests that we have been shunned and still not good enough for the galactic brotherhood.....

  16. It is possible, but as far as human knowledge goes they're millions of light years away. So unless they got light-speed traveling technology they won't get near us. Even if they did I think no organism'll ever live over 100 million years anyway.

  17. of course, and you are right that they probably don't give a d**n about us.  history has proven that any contact with a superior civilization is always bad for the lesser civilization
