Is it possible to 'wax' an air hockey table? ?

Table needs a bit more slickness-is it possible to wax? How and with what?

  1. I wouldnt suggest it, because the wax would plug up the holes that the air comes out of, to move the puck over the table.


  2. you might break it but I think car wax would work. I'd go to a hobby shop, ***** or Modells (anywhere that sells air hockey tables) and ask them before you do anything

  3. Yes, you can use wax paper or car wax.

    Yes; you can; but it not necessary; because the air come out out the table should be enough to lift and form a almost frictionless surface for your puck to ride on, unless the blower  can not blow enough air to keep it above the suface. Try vaccuming the table suface to remove the dust that might be plugging it's holes . Than check the fan and see if there dust on it. if there is; then vaccum it  to remove it. this should make it work like new again.
