Is it possible to DOWnload or like... BUY a program that'll turn your computer into a DUAL COre processor?

cuz i wanna play maplestory on my mac

nd my sister can with her macbook cuz it's a dual core processor

but my mac is rly old (ibookG4 :P) so i don't have the dual system thing

so is it possible to lyke turn my computer into a dual core?

if so plz recommend sites or places to buy or get the program needed to do so :D

or is it only possible if i get a new computer?

Negative, when you're talking about dual core processor, you're actually talking about hardware within the computer. Unless you want to upgrade your processor then there is nothing you can really do

No, dual core means the type of processor you have (its a hardware thing not software). However, if your mother-board supports it, it may be possible to upgrade your processor. The best thing to do may be to check what type of mother board you have to c if it supports a dual core processor, and go to a professional to upgrade it. This would be a lot cheaper than buying a new computer.
