  1. well these answers are right...you can stop and it will slowly go down but it will probably only be temporary....just try something new....mixed drinks if you usually drink beer....shots if you cant do beer....or go to wine if you wanna head down a different route....might not get high much quicker but hey its better than quitting all together just to lower your tolerance

  2. yes but when you start back it wont take as long to build the tolerance up again

  3. it is not permanent.  i used to have a very high tolerance in college, but now it only takes a few to get me buzzed.  Then again, I only drink a few times a year now.

However, if you stop drinking for a while, then start drinking regularly again, your tolerance will build faster than before.

  4. absolutley but why quit, just drink more every time

  5. Yeah, I am sure it would. I would get off of alcohol for about 6 months.

  6. NO  Your addiction and yes it is an addiction evenif you wont admit it. Will only get worse.

The prosses keeps getting stronger even if you quit for a long time.. When you start up again it only takes a few months until your right back were you started when you quit..

  7. Yes.But it takes quite a while.Not just a couple of weeks.
