i have an ipod nano, so i can only have a relatively small number of songs on the ipod at once. on my desktop computer are a lot more songs that i have saved on the pc but not on the ipod. but now i'm getting a laptop. if i open my itunes account on my new laptop, will all the songs that were on itunes on my pc be there? i can't think of any other way to transfer all the songs onto my new laptop, since my nano doesn't hold all my songs on the pc.

thanks in advance!

  1. you will be able to sign into your account, but your library wont show up, although this problem is easy to solve.  Make a folder with all of your music that you want to put on your laptop, then get a thumb-drive, or portable memory device of some kind (they run about 10-15 bucks) plug into the USB port of your computer, go to the folder with the music, and move it to the memory device.  After everything has transfered, put it into your laptop and the folder will be saved.  When you open Itunes next, you can go to file; import folder; import the music folder; and there you go.  All of your music transfered.  Hope this can be a best answer.

  2. No they won't be there. You will need to transfer them across on a external hard drive or something.

  3. no, just get a usb or do a wireless connection

  4. only if you have mobile me but you have to pay for it...
