Is it possible to add a .doc file to windows movie maker so it will show as a picture?

me and my friend are making a film and at the end we need this newspaper we made on word to appear as a picture so you can read all the writing. i have tried to print screen it but its not possible t fit the whole page in and be able to read the writing. is there any other way i can do it?

There are several ways but all of them involve a bit of work and different pieces of software. The quickest would be:

1. Download and install Wink (freeware) from:

2. Learn how to capture frames with Wink. There's a tutorial that comes along with Wink that tells you how. It's pretty good and you'll learn how within minutes.

3. Using Wink, capture a slow scrolling of the document page in Word. In other words:

    a. Open your document in Word

    b. Start Wink

    c. Go to File --> New

    d. Capture (using Wink) a slow scroll down of the document

4. Crop all the frames in Wink so it shows only the document. This is a tricky operation, I'll admit. Wink isn't able to support visual cropping at all.

5. Render the file to swf format.

6. Use one of a number of conversion utilities to convert the swf to avi, mpeg or mov format. You can download them here:

No harm in using the limited-period trial versions, since it's just this one movie.

7. Import the avi/mpeg/mov into your project.

Get a screen capture utility such as MW Snap, zoom in using MS Word's zoom control, and take a picture of just the area you want to show.
