Question:

Is it possible to add additional HDMI ports to my TV?

My 50" Vizeo Plasma has 3 HDMI ports. All 3 are being used by my HD reciever, my surround sound reciever and my Xbox 360 Elite. I just ordered a Blu Ray player for my computer and have 2 SLI 8800 Nvidia video cards capable of HDTV. Is there a way to send a Blu Ray video to my TV with HDMI and if so, how can I add additional HDMI ports to the TV? I don't know if my O.S. matters, but it's Vista Ultimate. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  1. All you need is an HDMI switch...they are like $18...DO not overpay for one of those.....you hook it to one of your HDMI slots and it creates like 3-5 more...

  2. No.

But you can buy an HDMI switch like a 4:1 and feed all 4 of your devices into just 1 port on your TV.

  3. Well I think the best way is to get a HDMI extender, or a HDMI HUB. This enables you to have more slots.

  4. HDMI switcher
