Is it possible to add items [glitter, etc] to acrylic water?

It's like water at first and then slowly hardens over the next 24 to 48 hours. I'm just worried if i try to add stuff to it after it hardens a bit, it will start to get chunky

You can add items to "floral setting resins" which is I presume what you're asking about.  

If you want to add things that are "heavy" and at a certain level, I think you'll need to pour some in to that level, let it set up a while, then put in the item(s) and add more resin**.

If you want to add glitter, etc. evenly throughout the resin, you'd want to mix it into the resin before pouring the resin into the container you're using.

**I don't know this for sure though (that's the way that regular hard epoxy resins and polyester resins are done), so you might want to check out some of the links I have on this page to see if you can find better info:

If you are talking about acrylic medium, which has a thinned paint like consistency, then you can. You can add glitter, pigment, and lots of other things. If the stuff you are putting in it is very fine pieces, it won't get chunky.

I think you might be talking about that fake water that you can use in fake flower arrangements. I'm pretty sure that you can add glitter. Why not do a test run? You can use a small vesel, like a shot glass or baby food jar to see how it would work.
