  1. Learn about Fta...Do a yahoo search on fta,

    fta = free to air.

  2. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Satellite-Finder-M...

    buy yourself one of these..............less than £10 including postage

  3. You need a proper satellite dish not the oval mesh one that Sky want you to have. Get a motorised one.

    Then you need a proper receiver, again not the one that Sky give you.

    You get the dish facing dues south and that lets you pick up the Thor satellite at 1.0W. Once you have that you can then get Hotbird at 13.0E, Astra 2 at 28.2 and so on.

    You should get all 23 satellites which will give you about 6500 channels. You will get all the Hollywood movies and the Premiere league and it is all free with no subscriptions.

  4. don't try it unless you know what you are doing and have the correct alignment meter otherwise you might completely loose the signal. get a satellite engineer to do it.

  5. You can adjust a dish, but do you need to? You may end up with a weaker signal, and lose channels.
