Is it possible to adjust fully grown adult teeth?

My parents couldn't afford braces when I was younger. My teeth aren't that bad just a few gaps between my teeth. Can they still be adjusted and moved after they are fully grown in?

  1. Yes, but they hurt a bit more.  I had it done in my late 20's. When you are younger your teeth aren't quite settled but as you get older they are pretty much were they are going to be and not move.So the braces are moving teeth that are permanently fixed and it hurts a bit  more then as a young person would. Good luck

  2. Yes! They can. It doesn't matter how old you are, you can have braces at any age. My friend's dad is in his 50s and he just got his braces on.

  3. Absoloutly. Have a great life( if you get the braces) with your new improved teeth!!! xx

  4. Every day....not a problem

  5. Yes.  I'm 26 and got braces 3 months ago.  And I don't agree with the person who says they hurt worse when you are an adult.  Mine have barely hurt at all since I've had them.  Maybe a total of 3 or 4 days in 3 months I have felt a little uncomfortable pressure but I would hardly call that pain.
