Is it possible to apply for both UK and Canadian immigration?

I am from India and would like to immigrate to either UK or Canada. Is there any legal restriction on simultaneously filling up the forms for these immigrations?

Of course there is not. You can apply to every country in the world if you want to, but if you are applying to the UK from India, you will have to prove that you are high in your profession and earning a substantial salary, otherwise you will not get enough points.I assume that you have at least a batchelors degree from a good university?
