  1. Yes, but you'll have to be willing to eat only your own food creations, shop only at certain stores, pay more for your produce... no eating out, no parties, no potlucks.

  2. Yeah. I try to eat as organic as possible but it's reallllyy hard. I have a medium size fridge in my house that is all vegan and organic. There is actually a ton of products though. But yeah, no parties or goign to people houses or out to dinner :(

  3. Yes it is. Some produce isn't vegan though.

Organic produce, being limited to using "natural" fertilizers, is limited to 3 options:

    1. Manure

    2. Compost

    3. Rendered animal parts.

With 1 & 3 being of animal origin, only 2 is vegan. But, commercial produce does not use compost as it is a more expensive venture than the other 2. So, technically, almost all commercially grown produce uses animal "products" in it's process.

Yet, it is still a better environmental choice as opposed to non-organic produce which is sprayed with toxic chemicals several times per growing season. Besides the dangers involving the produce itself, the cumulative effect of these chemicals environmentally is alarming. Look into the "dead zone" of the Caribbean Sea extending from the delta of the Mississippi River as an example.

  4. Quorn has eggs as an ingredient.  It's not vegan.

  5. Most vegan products are organic, it is verry possible.

    Quorn is not vegan though.

  6. Sure you can but, be prepared to pay a hefty price for the products.  The prices are never going to come down as vegans represent a very small minority and companies need to recoup the costs associated with producing the products.

  7. Quorn isn't organic, but it isn't vegan either...

  8. I think going Vegan right off the back could be a chock to your body. I don't know if you are going directly from non-veg to organic vegan or if you are going from partially vegan to organic vegan.

Of course there are tons of food available that are organic and vegan...well almost 75% of vegan stuff should be organic...depending on what you buy, but you need to be careful about your health when you make this switch.

Organic and moreso vegan foods will always be twice or 3X more expensive than regular foods, but if you have toned your body to be okay with vegan foods...thats more power to ya.

Local co-op stores, are the best stored for these foods. Also now Regular grocery stores like Top Foods, Safeway also have an organic food section. So you can go to a co-op store, and find out brand that are organic and vegan...then look for them in the organic section of regular stores. I think you'll see that its not too bad at all...as long as you are cool with spending a little bit more. Good Luck!

  9. Of course it is! There were vegans for thousands of years before there were processed, non-organic foods. Your diet may be a little boring though.

Plenty of my friends only eat organic foods and are vegan. They are mostly very skinny too.

I'm neither a vegetarian or vegan. I am an expert on manure.
