  1. Not physically. Though mentally ANYTHING can be addictive.

Chocolate is more addicting than marijuana.

  2. Marijuana has a chemical in it called tetrahydrocannabinol, better known as THC.  A lot of other chemicals are found in marijuana, too—about 400 of them, some of which are carcinogenic.42

Pot affects a user’s judgment, motor coordination, and short-term memory.  Weed can cause increased heart rate and make some users extremely anxious or paranoid.  Smoking marijuana also causes some changes in the brain similar to those caused by long-term use of cocaine and heroin.43

Research found that students with an average grade of “D” or below were more than four times as likely to have used marijuana in the past year as students who reported an average grade of “A.”44 Students who have smoked marijuana within the past year are more than twice as likely to have cut class than those who did not smoke, while health problems associated with using marijuana can keep students from attending school due to illness.45

Regular marijuana users often have shortened attention spans, decreased energy and ambition, poor judgment, high distractibility, and impaired ability to communicate and relate to others.  Young people who use marijuana weekly have double the risk of depression later in life

  3. Not really.  Its more like the fat kid being addicted to food.

  4. yeah something like that~psychologically addicted

  5. No, it isn't physically addictive like heroin for example. It's mentally addictive, so is simply a habit. Just like a fat kid being addicted to food infact.

  6. While not everyone who uses marijuana becomes addicted, when a user begins to seek out and take the drug compulsively, that person is said to be dependent on the drug or addicted to it. In 2002, over 280,000 people entering drug treatment programs reported marijuana as their primary drug of abuse, showing they needed help to stop using. According to one study, marijuana use by teenagers who have prior serious antisocial problems can quickly lead to dependence on the drug. That study also found that, for troubled teenagers using tobacco, alcohol, and marijuana, progression from their first use of marijuana to regular use was about as rapid as their progression to regular tobacco use, and more rapid than the progression to regular use of alcohol.

  7. Not for me, there is no euphoria at all. It f's you up but, it doesn't make me feel good or happy like alcohol does. I don't think any hippie drug is additive, LSD etc.

No hangover or withdrawal symptoms either. But some people like it allot, I don't like it that much. They smoke it everyday I'd call that a addiction but what is the bad effects??
