  4. the caffeine. i like coca cola but i drink it only when theres a party or when i go to the pub or cafe

  5. ok i  saw in a documentation that they used cocaine to make it so that people would get addicted. now i dont doubt they dont still use it. i also heard that they used human blood as well. this i heard froma religious person

  6. it sounds like it!! But it is not coca cola it the caffeine in it that your body is craving. Try to have a glass of water before you have a glass of soda. It will cut the amount of soda you drink and it will help keep you hydrated!

  7. Yes you can. I have the same problem and if I don't have a coke for a while I get a headache and feel yucky. Just try to make yourself drink something else and don't drink them late in the evening.

  8. u can get addicted to anything if u have too much and enough of it;

  9. No its not addictive, your addicted to the taste.I drink coke but only somtimes i will buy a can of coke when im thirsty. Its the taste your addicted too.Water has no taste this is why you cant drink water its tasteless.

  10. Oh my God, girl.  I feel for you.  I am sooooo addicted to Coca-Cola.  It has to do with your adrenals.  I swear to God.  If you are adrenally deficient, you crave things like sugar, caffeine, alcohol and Cokes.  You can get your adrenals tested.  But if you are in England, or the UK you guys have crappy health service cuz it's all free.  You can mail to here in the US.  Get it checked out.

    Good luck.

BTW, it has been 3 weeks since my last Coke and I am sleeping really well now.

  11. Probably, my boyfriend drinks it all the time ;)

(I wonder if he reads this...) heheh

  12. you dont have addiction over coke, coke is made of acids, else than that it burns the h**l out of your stomach, the addiction is blamed over the caffeine and the high levels of still sugar

  13. It is possible to get addicted to Coke, I once saw a documentary about a man who weighed something ridiculous because of his addiction to Coke.

I don't know if you are addicted, I would think it would take longer than 2 weeks but not drinking water is bad for you.

Hope this helps and you feel better soon. x

  14. Very likely. I used to drink Diet Coke non-stop, and when i would run out of it, i would get cravings for it.

I now avoid it as i know its addictive. If you want to stop these cravings, i recommend stop drinking it and switch back to water. You will crave coca cola for a couple of days, but after that, you will be fine.

  15. Definitely - I share the same addiction - it's the caffeine in it.  I drink diet pepsi - it helps with the sugar an all, cos I'm diabetic.  But h**l yeah coke - diet coke - pepsi love it - whatever floats your boat!

  16. you probably need the sugar or cafine rush

  17. Um...I don't think so you just want it really bad. I once started twitching because i did not have soda for a day and i needed it i felt like i would die.I would calm down on the Coke. jsut everytime you want it get water instead. I guess it's just your body has taken in so much of it needs it. O just like druggies so yea it is in a way and addiction.

  18. I drink 4 litres of coke on average, a day !!

It's not coke generally, it's obviously the caffeine in it !! Cut down a glass a day, and finally give it up !!

  19. Yes, you can become addicted to the caffeine in Coke.  I used to be very addicted to it.  I would get headaches when I didn't drink it and craved it like crazy.

Coke is bad for your body and you should stop drinking it as soon as possible!  Finially I do not drink coke, but it took me many years to stop.

  20. I had a friend who was just like that, only with Diet Coke! (ugh) As others above me have said, you are probably addicted to the effects of the caffeine in the Coke. Additionally, I've heard that high fructose corn syrup has an addictive quality to it, tho I've never felt that way personally.

As for me, I'm kind of "addicted" to Java Chip Frappuccinos at Starbucks. ;) I tend to buy them in the afternoon, 2 or 3 types a week.  Crazily enough, I look forward to drinking them all day, on the days when I figure I'm going to buy one. heh

  21. Yes.  It's the caffeine and sugar.

  22. Anything can be addictive. Just make sure it's diet coke, at least then you won't be fat.

To stop being addicted, remind yourself the possible effects of too much coke, such as:

Diabetes, tooth loss, huge weight gain.

  23. I THINK... CAUSE I'M THE SAME...I NEED A COKE AT LEAST ONCE A DAY...

  24. Its the carbonated feeling you miss the most, and just the delicious taste of course. I had a hard time giving it up also, its kinda really bad for you though because its so acidic, it will eventually mess up your stomache, thats actually why I had to stop. Water isnt that great for you, most water is very dirty, tap especially, distilled water is the only clean water, even "purified" is dirty, and spring, who knows if it just isnt tap water. I doubt you could be addicted, but its hard not to drink, because its so good and compliments just about all food. Just try and cut back on it.
