Sure. In fact pretty much everybody is both dead and alive. All (non-single-celled) organisms are composed of mostly living tissue; but cells are constantly dying and it takes time for these dead cells to leave the body. Also I'm pretty sure the all hair that can be seen above the surface of the skin is technically dead tissue.
