Is it possible to be in love with someone you've never met? (Details inside)?

I don't mean meeting people online... I think that's stupid.

I mean, is it possible that someone could maybe be in love with a girl that he has never even heard of/spoken to any time or place in his life?

I know it's crazy, but can that be possible? Like someone you saw in a dream or something?

And just so we're clear, I am not asking because I think I love someone I don't know... I'd rather meet them first thank you very much.

I don't think so....I guess if you saw someone across the street it's pretty much you think they are hot or something...but with out actually knowing them I find it really hard to believe you love them....if you get me!
