Is it possible to be in so much pain you throw up?

I have had intense pain in my right arm due to nerve damage... since yesterday the pain has gotten really bad to where I have thrown up and keep feeling as if I am going to throw up at any moment. Question, is it really possible to be in so much pain you throw up?

Yes it is.  Nerve pain is terrible.  I pinched the nerve in my leg one time and it is worse than having a baby.  It can make you throw up, pain can make you do alot of things you never thought you would do.

Yea definately and if you are in that much pain right now, I am so sorry- I hope you feel better soon. I think when we are experiencing that intensity of pain our bodies are just like what the h**l is going on?? and reacts with throwing up. I threw up during my labor's with my kids. I'm really sorry you're in that much pain!
