  1. Why not? The same question may be asked of the converse too ha ha.

    OF COURSE YOU CAN BE TALLER, SHORTER, FATTER, THINNER, FAIRER AS WELL AS DARKER ETC THAN YOUR PARENTS.


  2. yes it is.it all depends on the genes and some exercices.

It's certainly all about genetics.  But just because both of your parents are short doesn't mean they don't carry a "tall" gene.  You can have tall children even if you and your mate are short.  It's all in the genes we carry and pass on to our children, even if that gene isn't expressed in the parent's physical appearance.

    how tall you are is MOSTLY about genetics.. but even that can skip generations...

    HOWEVER it is also strongly effected by nutrition during growing years.. and injury during growth spurts.. there are a number of really good web sites about avg height etc...

    but the bottom line is that Genetics sets the bar for how tall you CAN be.. environment then modifies that bar with how tall you WILL be.
