Question:

Is it possible to be pregnant but still have a full period?

I had unprotected s*x on 7/16 and a week later I got a light period that lasted 2 days which is very unusual for me. I've been experiencing systems like sore b***s with bumps on my nipples, and nausea but not vomiting. I took a pregnancy test and it came back negative. All month long I've had these symptoms. I got my period again on 08/18, but I feel like my body is different. Is it possible to still be pregnant and have a period with cramping and everything?

  1. no you cannot have an actual period and be pregnant

  2. throughout the first two months of my pregnancy i was still having normal periods and taking home pregnancy tests that came back negative.

my levels were to low to show up on the test.

I would get a blood test done just to be sure. Its always best to get an 100% anwser.

    Good Luck

  3. It would be period like bleeding, not an actual period.  Period LIKE bleeding.  If you feel like the test is wrong, go and have a blood test.

  4. no.  a period is getting rid of unused eggs.

  5. yes you can there are plenty of women world wide that this happens to i have worked in a pregnancy clinic and this is very common

  6. Not true.  If you research the web or ask a medical professional you can get a period while you are pregant.  IT is not called a period though.  Schedule a doctors appointment and have them examine you to be sure.  I bled the first month of my first pregnancy and thought it was my period.  Thank God everything worked out and my daughter was not at risk.  From what I understand some doctors do not know why this still happens to some women.

  7. Ive been wondering the same exact thing! But i watched a show on discovery and a woman did have a period while pregnant for the first few months. So im thinking its possible

  8. Only those strange people on talk shows get their periods when they are pregnant. If you got your period, then I don't think you're pregnant. But you could have had a miscarriage--that might explain the symptoms you're having. Or you could just be freaking out because you thought you were pregnant.

Please, please, please, use at least one form of birth control. Two is even better. Remember: The #1 cause of pregnancy is s*x.
