Free Online Cash System seems like the most legit online business I've heard of but I'm still worried about gettin' scammed in the future. Note- I have never joined an online business that's why I'm worried even though i feel this one is legit.

They asked for my ID (Driver's License for example) because they want to make sure that we are who we say we are. Is it possible to be scammed with ID's? What can i do to prevent it (if it is)? Please give detailed answers

  1. look them up at BBB

  2. If they're on file with the Better Business Bureau as having multiple complaints, then don't use them.

The BBB has a website, you can contact them via that.

  3. If it's not a legitimate business, then yes.

Asking for a drivers license is unusual. Name and address, phone and email should be enough. For payment, opt for PayPal if you can as only the email address is needed. Bank account etc. can come later when you have qualified for a payout if they offer this. Checks are probably safer.

Do some research by Googling the business name or the domain name, adding scam, review or problem (do one for each).

If they have a bad name there will be forum posts, but be wary of some of these which are made by marketers wanting to sell you a competitive product or service.

Don't pay too much attention to the posts that praise the business either; they are often written by people who are connected with it or want you to sign up under them.

So who do you believe? Sometimes it's just instinct.

Good luck with your online career efforts.

  4. It sure sounds like a scam.

Rule one:  send them no money -- period.  No real business will ask you for money.  A job pays you -- not the other way around.

Don't give them your drivers license number.  The only possible reason they'd need it is for identity theft.
