Is it possible to be tough cuz your dad is? my dad was a really good fighter so i wanna know if that helps me?

can i be tougher or a better fighter cuz my dad is? everyone tells me how he wasnt very big but never lost a fight and was really good. im 14 yrs old, 5'9 185 pounds. i dont mean to sound stupid im just wondering

  1. No it doesn't mean you will be a good fighter or be tough. You may inherit some athleticism but that's about it. Toughness is something you acquire through hardship and training.

    at 14  5'9 185, your gonna be a pretty big ******* man most likely unless your mostly just fat then its just Big mac weight. My cousin is 17 years old 6'3 220 lbs....he aint tough, kind of a p***y really.

    Its all mental. Get your dad to teach you how to fight and not rely on it being in your genes

  3. Kind sir. Being tough does not always relate to generic inherits. Instead, being tough is a state of mind that only the individual can derive. If you desire to be tough, then only you can make it happen.

  4. d**n, 14 and 5-9, 185?  Sheesh.  Big kid.  Yeah it's possible.  I guess toughness can be genetic, but actual fighting skill isn't.  Hit the gym, young man.
