  1. Anyone can list anyone else as a driver on their auto policy.  There doesn't need to be a relationship.

But keep in mind . ..  the NAMED INSURED on a policy - your fiance - gets benefits that listed drivers DO NOT.  Namely, the liability will carry over onto any car they drive.   It does NOT carry over, for listed drivers.

  2. Good question which should be directed to his agents office because all states and carriers have different rules.

  3. Honestly, it really depends on the company because it depends on the policy.  EVERY AUTO INSURANCE POLICY IS DIFFERENT.  I can't stress that enough.

Have your fiance contact his agent and ask, "If my fiance moves in with me, can she be added to the insurance policy?"  Chances are they'll say yes...but they may want to look at your driving record as well, the driving record of the policy is only as good as the worst driver.

  4. In Texas, they will allow unmarried couples to be listed as insureds and drivers as long as you are living together.

If you live in the same household, then you should be added as a driver.  Most companies want to have all household members as drivers on a policy as you all have access to the vehicles, and therefore are a liability to the policy.

Just call your agent and advise them on the issue, they can give you a quote on how much the rate will change if any.

  5. Your question is not possible to be answered in just one or two words.find useful tips here for reference though.http://car-insurance.easyideas4u.info/al...

  6. You can in the UK.... he just puts you as a "Named Driver".........

  7. Depends on two things:

Does your fiance's insurer allow unmarried couples on a policy in your state?

If yes, are you an eligible driver for you fiance's policy? (can you drive straight, have valid license, live in the same household, underwriting questions you know)

The insurer sets the rules of who's eligible, call them and find out.

    Good luck
