  1. It is hypothetically possible if the rules of the game are generous enough, however it is the casinos job to ensure this is not so and the only time this may be true is during some kind of promotional period.

many rules favor the player and by combining enough of them it is possible for the hosue to be offerring the player an advantage provided he/she can act upon the rules.

Id almost bet my life that you will never find a machine that can be beaten by simply applying basic strategy.

You can apply this strategy, play 25cents a hand at the bar while playing bs, lose 14 cents per hour, get 3 beers/hour

that  in itself, is an advantage play my freind.

  2. you will have the same % chance as a live game. however, most blackjack machines have the hi/lo double up option, which should help the player as you can win larger amounts.

  3. Clearly it depends on the casino machine, as they all vary.

First off, the exact pay out odds will have a huge impact.  Did you know, for example, there are at least 3,456 known combinations of house rules that can radically affect the house edge?  And that's just on non-video games.

But my guess here is that they will reshuffle the virtual deck too often for card counting to work all that well.  So you are left with basic strategy, which the machine is going to expect you to play.  I suspect the house edge will be 1-2% if you play basic strategy, ranging to 5% or more if you play badly.
