  1. Its possible but it would be pretty hard at first. Im not fond of veggies as well but it kinda grow into me and eventually start to like them. Goodluck about it.

  2. In a global sense, what you like is what you need at a particular moment and that can change. One day you might like (need) one type of food, the next day your likes might be entirely different.

Going from eating animal products to vegan diet is a long process. During that period, after a couple of cravings for meat, you will slowly forget about them, and at the same time rediscover some vegetables, raw or prepared one way or other.

The cravings for animal products are caused by some addictive substances in them which we don't need but make us keep wanting more. Once you get clean of those, your body can start picking food items more sensibly, and discover the deliciousness of some vegan food items.

Just observe the changes your body goes through. It is fun to cooperate with it. Your body is your closest companion. Your life-time very best friend.

  3. Thats sort of like asking if you can become a drunk without drinking.

You need to either go to a good, and I mean good vegetarian restaurant where you can try different vegetarian meals or a friend who is a good vegetarian cook. You will learn that vegetarian meals can taste fantastic. Things like portabello mushrooms can replace burgers and even taste better. Vegetarianism and the recipes have changed a lot over the years and you can get some fantastic different meals, it's n ot just eating the boring vegetables most people hav e learned to eat over the years as side dishes.

  4. fruits, nuts, cheese, bread...

  5. well first try new veggies while having a square meal of meats veggies and starches and sloly take the meat out of the equation and start replacing it with something that has protien like soy (To food)

It would be unhealthy and lead to malnourishment if you didn't eat veggies or meats you need one or the other.

You can live a vegetarian lifestyle you will just need to get used to eating veggies instead of meats.

  6. Yes it is. I personally dont enjoy vegetables all that much either but Ive been one for over a year now. That is a common misconseption amoung vegetarians though.

  7. Obviously possible but maybe not pleasant. Since you are already placing severe restrictions on the range of foods you eat when you become a vegetarian, you had best like a lot of foods among those you still allow yourself.

Also, a narrow diet is not healthy.

  8. Yes!!! If you want to starve!!!! LOL

J/K    Just take it slow....try some of the veggies you don't care for and know that this could save your life one day!  You will learn to love these veggies. Also,  in the beginning put some yummy stuff on like sea salt, alittle butter.  then wean yourself off of that stuff. This will help you adjust to eating them without the butter.  Seasalt is healthy though. If you like dressing...try with that. Or oil and vinager.

I love to puree steamed cauliflower and add my favorite spices...it can taste like potatoes,   You see, I stay away from the white stuff including potatoes. those are hard on your pancreas and could increase the chance of diabetes.

For best health eat as many raw and sprouted things as possible. They have their enzymes and nutrients intact because they haven't been cooked. Not to many grains ..that would be unhealthy and make you fat. If you eat soy it needs to be fermented. Regular soy will sky rocket your estrogen....ie   cancer! A great source of protein....hemp milk or powder.  Sprouted seeds or nuts. Learn how to sprout because raw nuts will give you a stomach ache. they have enzyme inhibitors. If you must take them with enzymes,

go to you local health food stores and talk to people there and read their  books!

Here 's to your good health!!

PS... Do not let anyone talk your into flaxseed!  That will increase you estrogen too. (unless you have a deficiency...dont take HRTs)

  9. You can try eating veggie burgers and tofu. You won't feel like you're eating vegetables, and it's a good substitute for meat.

  10. no, i don't think so, its unhealthy for your body if you force it to eat something you don't like, even if it does mean that you have to keep eating meat.

  11. If you want you can have vegetarian tacos, and stop eating meat!

  12. ABSOLUTELY. That's why there's Bocca Burgers, Tofurkey, no meat chicken nuggets, no egg breakfast scramblers etc, etc. I am a vegan and I don't eat many just plain veggies. Just watch your health and make sure you are getting protein, iron and stuff.

  13. Yes, there are fruit, beans, tofu, cheese, nuts, etc.  But I agree with expanding on vegies.  Try different ones, not just carrots, celery, brocolli, etc.

  14. Yes why not?

vegetarian is not always about vegetables.

you can eat rice, corn, and salad..

but it will be better if you eat vegetables

  15. haha yeah that's how I was a long time ago

take vitamin supplements if you're lacking the amount of vegetables you need

as long as you like grains (pastas, breads, etc.) you should be in pretty good shape

be careful of anemia though, you probably will become a little bit anemic if you don't get enough iron

my mom used to call me a "junk-food"-aterian haha

    so yes, it's very possible

ps-good for you on the veg! support the cows<3

  16. Yes, but it would be very unhealthy to just eat carbohydrates, too much carbs can lead to diabetes...

  17. Yes. I did.

  18. I was feeling the same exact way,but i didn't do it because i wasn't willing to give up meat yet.

I have a friend who is a vegetarian.she said that the first few months were very hard but now she is use to it.

If you really want to become a vegetarian just try hard and who knows you may end up likeing Vegetables.

  19. maybe start by getting a good vegitarian cook book and trying one new meal a week... your sure to find something thats to your liking. Just like there are good and bad ways to prepare meat, the sames true for vegies, just takes some learning.

  20. Yes, although it is advisable to branch out and try some vegetables to see what you can stand eating.  Maybe there are veggies you never tried that you would even like.  You should think about where you are going to get your protein, fat, B vitamins, and iron when you stop eating meat.

  21. try try and try...one day you will like all vegetables like you had liked all non-veg things in past.....you will sure become pure vegetarian...

  22. It's completely possible and after you get the taste for eating meat out of your system your palette will change.  You'll find that some things you previously disliked are really tasty.  Be open to trying a lot of different foods.

  23. when i went veg i didn't like or eat many vegetables at all... but that's not good even if you eat meat! i started to open up to eating them more, different ones in different ways and now i've found a ton that i really like and will eat... it's not so bad... just be open minded and try different things and retry them too...

  24. Yes...
