Is it possible to bring a BB gun on an airplane?

I want to know, I'm moving soon to another country and I'd like to buy one.

I've never tried, but I would guess that it isn't, because a BB gun looks so much like a real gun. Buy a new one when you get there.

Only in your checked baggage, but before you do so, check the export laws of the country you are leaving and the import lasw of the country you are going to, since in many places even BB guns are controlled
