Is it possible to burn an avi file to a dvd?

I have some videos on my digital camera that I would like to burn to a dvd and they are avi files. Is it possible? How would I do it without ruining my videos?

  1. What you need is a DVD burning program. I use ConvertXtoDVD and it works beautifully.

    Do some research, see what is compatible with your camera.

  3. Standard DVD players read the .Vob format, the files you have now are in AVI format..

    I would recommend you download ConvertXtoDVD. Ive been using it for a year now, never had a problem!
